| Application Launch Bar (V3.0) A quick and easy way to launch your applications without the hassle of trying to find it onthe start menu. The launch bar hides until you click on the yellow line at the top of the screen.
The launch bar then appears and you can move between program groups, and run applications just as you would from the start menu or from a window. Once "launch.exe" is running click the right mouse button over the launch bar and a pop-up menu appears. Choose "setup" from this menu. Awindow will then appear, showing the current groups and applications. You can add and delete groups and applications using the command buttons, you can also move the applications around. Double clicking the left mouse button will allow you to change the parameters of an existing application.
An extra feature has just been added that allows you to scan your hard disk(s) for a list of standard applications such as WINWORD.EXE, etc. The application will automatically create the selected shortcuts on your launch bar. Icon Viewer (V2.0) This application will query any EXE, DLL, OCX, ICO, ICL or NIL file, extract all of the icons from it and display those icons in a list. Individual icons can then be saved as either an icon or bitmap file. | Desktop Task Scheduler (V3.0) After looking around the net for a decent batch scheduler and not finding much I wrote this application (which is now being used by a leading call centre company as a "mission critical" batch job scheduler).
The Batch Job Scheduler is multi-threaded and has manyfeatures built into it, including "Copy Job", holiday exclusions, return code trapping, the ability to send SMTP emails, event logs and an import/export facility. This version is a stand-alone client, I will create a client/server version one day.
Run on Boot (V2.0) Ever wondered what your PC was doing when you start it up? Well, this little routine shows you which programs are loaded when your computer starts up. (Windows 95/98/NT4/W2K/XP compliant). Image Browser (V1.0) This application will display a thumbnail view of all of the images in a selected directory. The images that will be displayed are GIF, JPG, JPEG, BMP, EMF, WMF and ICO files. |
