I was browsing through photos of women who are fitness and figure competitors and stumbled upon a woman named Barbie Guerra. She is said to be “unarmed”. Literally. A female fitness and figure competitor who has no arms. That’s pretty freakin’ incredible and inspiring.
Barbie Guerra lost her arms when she was only 2 and a half years old. She was electrocuted via the wires of a transformer — the electrical box you often see outside of a house. According to doctors, she wasn’t going to make it, but look at her now! She’s in her early 30’s, married, has children, and she’s a fitness competitor!
