The â??Sham IIâ?? is the latest armoured tank built by the Syrian rebels in their fight against the brutal regime of President Bashar al-Assad. It took a month to design and assemble the machine, which has five cameras and a 7.62mm machine gun attached to its frame. The machine gun is controlled by control stick from a Sony PS3 games console from inside and although the 2.5 cm thick metal walls cannot withstand a grenade or tank fire, they can reportedly resist up to 23 mm cannon fire. The tank cost approximately $10 000 to build.

These dogs can teach a lot of people what true friendship is. Great Dane Lily is a six-year-old dog whose eyes were damaged by a health condition. Vets had to remove her eyes, and after this traumatic event Lily developed friendship with Maddison who is seven years old. The two dogs have become forever friends. Maddison always guides Lily. Sadly, the owners of these buddies left them alone. Now the dogs are looking for a new home at the Dogs Trust re-homing center in Shrewsbury.
